D57 IA Training: Prompting Hierarchy (2020-2021)

Welcome to the Prompt Hierarchy course.  In order to successfully move students toward independence, we need to understand the prompting hierarchy. We will review examples of prompting at each stage of the hierarchy and share different ways to use the prompting hierarchy to scaffold students to independence.  We will investigate and reflect on our own prompting. This training is designed to take 45 minutes total (20 minutes within Canvas; 25 minutes for assignments outside of canvas). The assignments in this training require you to work with your mentor or another person in your building familiar with the prompting hierarchy.
